Shane Brennan

Born in 1988, Shane Brennan graduated as a scholar from the The Royal College of Music in 2010, and on doing so, he was awarded the Herbert Samuel Memorial prize for trumpet. He studied with Paul Archibald, Paul Beniston, Ian Balmain and Alan Thomas as well as natural trumpet with Neil Brough. During his time at the RCM, Shane played principal trumpet in all of the College orchestras including the Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta and Baroque Orchestra under conductors such as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Martin Andre.

Shane has played for The Hoosiers and Russell Watson on tour as well as playing at the premiere for “The Three Musketeers” in October 2011. We recorded shane in St.Mary’s Church Saffron Walden in July 2011.
